Jennifer Lynne Brown (born March 23, 1981) is an American sports broadcaster and television host. She is known for her work on ESPN and the NFL Network. Jenn was also a talented athlete in college. She played sports at the University of Florida before starting her career in television.

She spent eight years as a reporter and host for ESPN. She also worked on the popular show American Ninja Warrior. Jenn spent two years working for the NFL Network. There, she was a studio host and reporter. She also reported for shows like College GameDay, the College World Series, and the Little League World Series. She covered the Summer and Winter X Games and the ESPYs too.

Growing Up and School

Jenn Brown was born in Gainesville, Florida. She grew up in Orlando, Florida. Her parents were coaches for Olympic gymnastics. Her mom even started gymnastics schools across the country. These schools helped train gymnasts for the Olympics.

High School Sports Star

Jenn loved sports from a young age. She played seven different sports at Bishop Moore High School. She broke a school record by earning 14 varsity letters. This means she played on a varsity team for many seasons. Jenn was captain of five sports in one year! These included diving, volleyball, basketball, softball, and track. In 1999, she was named one of the top 10 athletes in Central Florida.

College and Academic Success

Jenn went to the University of Florida on an academic scholarship. She played four years on the Florida Gators softball team. She was the team captain in her senior year. She finished fifth on the team's all-time list for stolen bases.

Jenn earned many awards for her studies at the University of Florida. She was named an Academic All-American twice. She was also on the SEC Academic Honor Roll four times. She graduated with high honors, called summa cum laude. She first planned to go to law school to become a sports agent. But then she got a big chance to host a TV travel show. It was called The Wild Side on HDNet.

Life Outside of Work

Jenn Brown lives in Los Angeles, California. She is married to actor Wes Chatham. They have two sons together. Their first son, John Nash, was born in 2014. Their second son, Rhett Jameson, was born in 2016.

TV Hosting Roles

Before working at ESPN, Jenn worked for Showtime Sports. She was a reporter there in 2008 and 2009. She was also a special reporter for Inside the NFL for two seasons. This show won an Emmy Award in 2008. Jenn also reported live from boxing and MMA events for Showtime Sports and CBS. In 2009, she was one of the hosts on ABC's show The Superstars.

Jenn was a co-host on the NBC and Esquire Network show American Ninja Warrior. She also hosted A Football Life: Backstory and NFL GameDay Scoreboard on the NFL Network.

Acting and Modeling

Jenn has also done some acting. She appeared in the movie Two Tickets to Paradise. She also played herself in two episodes of the TV show Kingdom on DirecTV.

Jenn has also worked as a model. She has been in several ad campaigns for Under Armour. This company makes athletic clothing.
