Jeremy Bloxham is a British scientist who studies the Earth. He is known as a geophysicist. A geophysicist studies the physical processes and properties of the Earth. He is also a FRS, which means he is a very respected scientist.
He works as a professor at Harvard University in the United States. He has been teaching and researching there since 1985. He also used to be the Dean of Science at Harvard.
Education and Research
Jeremy Bloxham studied at the University of Cambridge in England. He earned his Ph.D. from this university in 1986. His Ph.D. research was about how the Earth's magnetic field changes over time. This is called "geomagnetic secular variation."
His work helps us understand more about our planet.
