Jeremy Ford (born 1985) is a talented American chef. He became famous after winning the TV cooking show Top Chef in 2015. Before winning, he worked at a restaurant called Matador Room. After his big win, Jeremy Ford opened his own popular restaurant, Stubborn Seed, in South Beach. He also started Krun-Chi in Miami. In 2021, he opened another restaurant, The Butcher's Club. He also became a co-host on the TV show Fast Foodies.

Jeremy Ford discovered his passion for cooking when he was 14 years old. This happened when he met his grandmother in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida.
Jeremy Ford's Culinary Journey
Jeremy Ford began his cooking career at just 16 years old. He worked as a garde manger (a chef who prepares cold dishes) at Matthews. This was a highly-rated Mediterranean-style restaurant in Jacksonville. A year later, he moved to Los Angeles. There, he worked at the famous L'Orangerie restaurant. He learned many French cooking skills from executive chef Christophe Eme. Later, he worked with master chef Joachim Splichal at Patina.
In 2008, he joined chef Dean Max at his restaurant, 3030 Ocean, in Fort Lauderdale. Jeremy Ford then won a tough competition against 30 other chefs. This helped him become the head chef at Matador Room. In 2022, his restaurant, Stubborn Seed, earned a special award called a Michelin star. This is a very high honor for a restaurant.
