Jermaine Fowler (born May 16, 1988) is a talented American actor, comedian, producer, and writer. You might know him best from his role as Prince Lavelle Junson, King Akeem Joffer's son, in the movie Coming 2 America (2021). He also played Franco Wicks in the TV show Superior Donuts on CBS.

Early Life and Start
Jermaine Fowler was born in Washington, D.C. on May 16, 1988. He grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland, with his twin brother and two other siblings. He went to Northwestern High School.
When he was 20 years old, Jermaine left college and moved to New York City. During the day, he looked for jobs. At night, he performed comedy at "open mic" events in Times Square. This is how he started his career in comedy.

Starting in Comedy (2012–2015)
In 2012, Jermaine began traveling around the country. He performed his comedy at different clubs and colleges. This helped him gain experience and fans.
In 2013, he joined the cast of MTV2's show Guy Code. He also started writing, producing, and starring in his own pilot shows. A pilot is a test episode for a new TV series.
In 2014, Jermaine starred in a show called Friends of the People on TruTV. This show was popular and lasted for two seasons. In 2015, he created his first comedy special, "Give 'Em Hell, Kid." He sold this special to Showtime, a TV network.
Starring in Superior Donuts
In 2017, Jermaine Fowler became an executive producer and star of the CBS sitcom Superior Donuts. In this show, he played the main character, Franco Wicks.
The show was renewed for a second season, meaning it was popular enough to continue. However, after two seasons, the show ended. Jermaine also had a repeating role on the HBO show Crashing.
On September 17, 2017, Jermaine had a special role. He was the announcer for the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. This is a big event where TV shows and actors win awards.
