Jerzy Rybicki is a famous retired boxer from Poland. He was born on June 6, 1953, in Warsaw. Jerzy is best known for winning medals for his country in big international competitions.
He proudly represented Poland at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montréal, Canada. There, he achieved a fantastic victory, winning the gold medal in the light middleweight division. This means he was in a weight class for boxers weighing up to 71 kilograms. He won the final match against Tadija Kačar from Yugoslavia.
