Jesbel was once a small community in Madera County, California. It was located along the Southern Pacific Railroad line. This spot is about 5.25 miles (8.45 km) south-southwest of a town called Raymond. Jesbel was situated at an elevation of 538 feet (164 meters) above sea level.
Even though it's not a settlement anymore, Jesbel could still be found on maps as late as 1921. This shows it was a recognized place for some time.
