Jesper Jenset (born August 19, 1997) is a popular singer and songwriter from Norway. He first became famous in 2014 when he competed on the Norwegian version of the TV show Pop Idol, called Idol - Jakten på en superstjerne. He finished in fifth place, which helped him get a record deal with the major music company Sony Music.
Since then, Jesper has released several collections of songs called extended plays (EPs). An EP is like a short album. His EPs include Waves, Vol. 1, Waves, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3. He is known for his catchy dance-pop songs and has worked with many other artists.

Getting Started on 'Idol'
Jesper's career began on the TV show Idol. As part of the show, he released a song called "Call Me Yours". It was a huge hit, reaching number one on the Norwegian iTunes chart. The song quickly got over a million listens on Spotify.
