Jesse Bernard Barber, known by his nickname "Phantom," was a talented American baseball player. He played as an Outfielder in the Negro leagues for many years. He was born on January 5, 1888, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Jesse Barber played professional baseball from 1909 until 1926.
