Jesse Neal (born April 10, 1980) is an American professional wrestler. He also served in the U.S. military. He is most famous for his time with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). There, he was part of a tag team called Ink Inc. with his partner Shannon Moore. He also held titles in Atomic Revolutionary Wrestling (ARW).

Jesse Neal's Military Service

Jesse Neal was a member of the United States Navy from 1998 to 2002. He reached the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class. He was on board the ship USS Cole when it was attacked on October 12, 2000. This event was a very difficult time for him.

After the attack, Jesse spent over a year on shore duty. He finished his four years with the Navy in 2002. He has a tattoo on his arm to remember his best friend who died in the attack.

Starting in Wrestling

In May 2007, Jesse Neal began training to become a professional wrestler. He trained with famous wrestlers Team 3D at their wrestling academy. He used the ring name "Tribal" during his early matches. He wrestled in different independent wrestling shows.

Time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA)

Making His Debut in TNA

In 2009, Jesse Neal joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He first appeared at an event called Destination X. He wore his Navy uniform and even sang "God Bless America". On April 9, he appeared on Impact!, a wrestling TV show. Another TNA wrestler, Rhino, offered to train him.

Jesse had his first match for TNA on June 4, but he lost. Rhino became frustrated with Jesse's mistakes during their training. Later, Rhino and Jesse lost a tag team match. After the match, Rhino attacked Jesse, becoming a "bad guy" in wrestling. Brother Devon helped Jesse, and Team 3D decided to train him at their school.

Working with Team 3D

Jesse Neal took some time off TV to train more. He returned on November 19 with a new look, including a spiked mohawk. He joined Team 3D and Rhino, becoming a "bad guy" himself. They worked together to win matches.

In early 2010, things changed in TNA. Jesse's storyline with Rhino and Team 3D ended. Team 3D became "good guys" again. Jesse returned to TV on February 4, but he lost his match quickly. On February 25, Jesse became a "good guy" again. He helped Team 3D win a match, showing they were still allies.

Forming Ink Inc.

On April 26, Jesse Neal teamed up with Matt Morgan. However, Morgan turned on Jesse during their match. After this, Shannon Moore came out to help Jesse. This led to Jesse and Shannon forming a new tag team called Ink Inc.. They were known for their tattoos and unique style.

Ink Inc. quickly started winning matches. They aimed to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship. At an event called Sacrifice, they tried to win the titles but failed. Jesse also had a match against Brother Ray.

Ink Inc. continued to wrestle against other tag teams. They competed in tournaments for championship opportunities. At Bound for Glory, they won their first match on a big pay-per-view event. They challenged for the TNA World Tag Team Championship multiple times but couldn't win the titles.

In January 2011, Jesse Neal signed a new three-year deal with TNA. Ink Inc. kept trying to win the tag team titles. At Victory Road, they lost another championship match.

In May 2011, Jesse suffered a neck injury during a match. This kept him out of action for about four months. Ink Inc. returned in September, attacking the current tag team champions, Mexican America. A new wrestler named Toxxin joined Ink Inc. to help them. Ink Inc. continued to challenge for the tag team titles but were unsuccessful. Jesse Neal left TNA in December 2011. His last appearance was on December 15, where he was attacked by Gunner.

Wrestling on the Independent Circuit

After leaving TNA, Jesse Neal continued to wrestle on the independent circuit. This means he wrestled for many different wrestling companies. He had many matches against various opponents.

In August 2015, Jesse Neal announced he was retiring from wrestling. However, he later decided to return to the sport. He continued to wrestle in independent shows. In March 2017, he broke his ankle during a match. He recovered and kept wrestling.

In November 2017, Jesse Neal won two championships at an Atomic Revolutionary Wrestling event. He became the ARW Hardcore Champion and the ARW Heavyweight Champion.

Jesse Neal's Personal Life

Before becoming a wrestler, Jesse Neal worked at a place called Blue Martini Orlando. He was engaged to fellow wrestler Christina Von Eerie, but their relationship ended.

Jesse later married professional wrestler Brittney Savage. In December 2013, they announced they were expecting a child. Their daughter, Brooklyn, was born on April 12, 2014. Because of his daughter's birth, Jesse decided to wrestle less often. He mostly took wrestling bookings in the Orlando area to be closer to his family. Jesse is also best friends with fellow wrestler Shannon Moore.
