Jessica Napier is an actress from New Zealand. She was born in New Zealand but now lives and works in Australia. Jessica has been in many movies, like Love Serenade and Ghost Rider. She is also very famous for playing Becky Howard in the Australian TV show McLeod's Daughters.

Early Life and Beginnings
Jessica Napier was born in Wellington, New Zealand. When she was a child, her father, who is also an actor named Marshall Napier, moved their family to Australia.
Jessica had her first acting job when she was only 9 years old. She played her father's daughter in the TV show Police Rescue. A year later, she acted in another episode. Her father suggested her for a role when the original girl didn't want to be in a swamp.
Becoming an Actress
Jessica decided to become a full-time actress when she was 15. Her very first big audition landed her the main role of Edwina in the TV show Echo Point.
Her first movie was Love Serenade, which won awards. She acted alongside Miranda Otto in this film. After that, she was in the movie Blackrock. In this film, Heath Ledger played her character's brother. This was one of Heath Ledger's first big movie roles.
TV Shows and Movies
Jessica then had small parts in other popular Australian TV shows. These included Water Rats and Murder Call. She also played Gerry Davis in the well-known show Wildside.
Later, Jessica appeared in Stingers and City Loop. She then got the main role of Raffy in the movie Cut. This was her first time playing the main character in a feature film. The movie also featured famous actors like Molly Ringwald and Kylie Minogue.
After Cut, she starred in Angst. She also appeared in a TV movie called Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story.
McLeod's Daughters and Beyond
Jessica Napier became a very well-known name in Australia. She played Becky Howard in the popular TV drama McLeod's Daughters. She was on the show from 2000 to 2003. Her father, Marshall Napier, also acted in the same series, playing Harry Ryan.
After McLeod's Daughters, Jessica starred in the TV movie The Alice. Because it was so popular, it became a TV series. Jessica continued her role in the series.
In 2009, she was a guest star in the TV shows Sea Patrol and Rescue: Special Ops. In 2010, she starred in the thriller movie Savages Crossing. She acted with other famous Australian actors in this film.
Jessica also played the main actress in a TV movie called Underbelly Files: Infiltration. This movie was part of the Underbelly series. It was about a police officer investigating a crime group. In 2021, she had a small role in the movie Moon Rock For Monday.

Jessica Napier married David Adler on November 28, 2009. They live in Sydney, Australia, with their two children, Emily and Oliver.
Jessica is a vegetarian. This means she does not eat meat. She also supports different groups that help animals. She has spoken about using Taronga Zoo in Sydney to care for circus elephants when they retire.
