Jesús González Alonso started his amazing musical journey when he graduated from the Madrid Conservatory in 1964. After finishing his studies in Madrid, he moved to Vienna, Austria. Vienna is a famous city for classical music, and many great musicians have lived and studied there.
Early Successes
In 1966, Jesús González Alonso won the Viotti competition in Vercelli, Italy. This was a big achievement for him. He also earned second prizes at the first two Paloma O'Shea International Piano Competition events in Santander, Spain. These competitions are very important for young pianists.
Studying in Vienna
From 1965 to 1971, he continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst (University of Music and Performing Arts) in Vienna. In 1971, he received his Klavier-Konzertfach-Diplom, which is a special diploma for piano performance, with high honors. This showed how dedicated and skilled he was.
Winning More Awards
