Jillian Debora Milroy, also known as Jill Milroy, is an important Australian Aboriginal academic. She is known for her work with traditional forms of knowledge, especially storytelling. Jill Milroy comes from the Palyku people.
She has held many important roles at the University of Western Australia (UWA). She was the founding head and later the dean of UWA's School of Indigenous Studies. In 2011, she was made a Member of the Order of Australia for her contributions. Currently, Jill Milroy is a Pro Vice Chancellor for Indigenous Education at UWA. She also directs UWA's Poche Centre for Indigenous Health.
