James Henry Lyons (born October 9, 1889 – died February 8, 1961) was a talented baseball player. He played in the Negro Leagues. Jimmie was mainly a pitcher. He also played in the outfield. His career lasted from 1910 to 1925.
Jimmie Lyons played for several famous teams. These included the Brooklyn Royal Giants and the Chicago Giants. He also played for the Lincoln Giants, St. Louis Giants, and Detroit Stars. Jimmie was the brother of another baseball player, Bennie Lyons. Bennie played for the West Baden Sprudels and Indianapolis ABCs.
