Jinny Ng Yeuk Hei, born on May 23, 1992, is a famous singer, TV host, and actress from Hong Kong. She sings Cantopop music and also acts in TV shows for TVB. Jinny was born in mainland China and moved to Hong Kong when she was nine years old. She became very well-known after 2014, especially for singing theme songs for TVB dramas and hosting TV programs.

How Jinny Ng Was Discovered

In 2008, when Jinny Ng was 16, someone important in the music world noticed her. She was singing karaoke with her friends at the time. Before starting her music career, Jinny trained secretly for two years. She learned to sing and play instruments, which was a challenging period for her.

Starting Her Music Journey in 2010

Jinny Ng began her music career in early 2010. She sang a song called "Love@Earth" with Enzo Siu. On November 8, 2010, she released her first music collection, an EP titled Love Diary. This EP received good reviews from critics.

Hit Songs and Awards in 2011

In 2011, Jinny Ng released a single called "Intimate" (《知己》). She sang this song with Alfred Hui. It quickly became a very popular song. "Intimate" reached the top of the TVB Chart for pop songs. Because of its success, Jinny won several awards for this song.

Second Album and Health Challenges in 2012

On May 28, 2012, Jinny Ng released her second album, Blue Sky. This album featured eight new Cantonese songs. In July of that year, she had a stomachache and went to the hospital. Later, she felt dizzy during a public event and saw a private doctor. Doctors found a small growth in her stomach. She had surgery to remove it. After this, she also found she had a small growth on her throat.

Jinny Ng continued to release new music. On June 26, 2013, she released her third album. This album was titled I Learned.

Rising to Fame: 2014 and Beyond

At the start of 2014, Jinny Ng joined Voice Entertainment and signed a contract with TVB. This was a big step in her career. She sang many theme songs for popular TVB dramas. These dramas included A Time of Love, Storm in a Cocoon, Swipe Tap Love, and Line Walker.

Her song Love Is Not Easy was used in the drama series Line Walker. This song became very popular and helped both the song and the TV show gain more fans. On November 27, 2014, Jinny Ng released her fourth album. It was a collection of her best songs called Love Collection: Love Is Not Easy. This album included her famous theme songs and other classic songs from her earlier albums.

Jinny Ng also became a host for TVB programs. She hosted shows like All Things Girl and Jade Solid Gold. Besides singing and hosting, she started acting in TVB dramas. Some of her acting roles were in Come On, Cousin, My "Spiritual" Ex-Lover, Young Charioteers, and Angel In-the-Making.

On January 18, 2015, Jinny Ng's song "Love Is Not Easy" won the Golden Song award. This happened at the 2014 Jade Solid Gold Awards Presentation. This award means it was chosen as the best song among many other great songs. The song became widely known and was even called the "brainwash song" because it was so catchy. It also has a Vietnamese version.

Jinny Ng's Family Life

In July 2016, Jinny Ng shared that she was in a relationship with Alex Ho, who is not in the entertainment industry. In November, she announced she was expecting a baby. Their daughter, Giselle, was born in late April 2017. On October 10, Jinny officially married Alex Ho. In June 2020, she announced her second pregnancy. Their son, Kylian, was born in November of that year.
