Jinny Ng Yeuk Hei (born on May 23, 1992) is a famous singer and actress from Hong Kong. She also hosts TV shows. Jinny sings Cantopop music and works for TVB Music Group and TVB, a big TV company in Hong Kong. She was born in mainland China and moved to Hong Kong when she was nine years old. Since 2014, she has become very well-known. This is because she sang many popular theme songs for TVB dramas and hosted different TV programs.

How Jinny Was Discovered

In 2008, when Jinny Ng was 16 years old, something exciting happened. She was singing karaoke with her friends. A talent agent heard her and realized she had a special voice. Before this, she had been secretly training for two years. She learned to sing and play musical instruments. This was a challenging time for her, but it helped her get ready for her music career.

Starting Her Music Career

Jinny's music journey officially began in early 2010. She sang a song called "Love@Earth" with Enzo Siu. This was her first step into the music world. Later that year, on November 8, 2010, she released her first music collection. It was an EP (which is like a mini-album) called Love Diary. People really liked it and gave it good reviews.

Popular Songs and Awards

In 2011, Jinny released a single song called "Intimate" (《知己》). She sang this song with Alfred Hui. It quickly became a big hit! The song reached the top of the TVB Chart for pop songs. Because it was so popular, Jinny won several awards for "Intimate."

Second Album and Health Challenges

On May 28, 2012, Jinny released her second album. It was named Blue Sky. This album had eight new songs in Cantonese. A few months later, in July, Jinny had a stomachache and had to go to the hospital. Later, she felt dizzy during a public event. She saw a private doctor who found a small growth, called a tumor, in her stomach. She had surgery to remove it. After that, doctors found a small growth on her throat, which is called a callus.

Third Album Release

Jinny continued to work hard on her music. On June 26, 2013, she released her third album. This album was called I Learned.

Becoming Famous: 2014 to Today

Starting in 2014, Jinny joined a new music company called Voice Entertainment. She also signed a contract with TVB. This was a big step for her career. She became very famous by singing theme songs for many popular TVB dramas. Some of these dramas include A Time of Love, Storm in a Cocoon, Swipe Tap Love, and Line Walker.

Her song Love Is Not Easy was used in the drama series Line Walker. This song became incredibly popular and made both the song and the TV show even more famous. On November 27, 2014, Jinny released her fourth album. It was a special album called Love Collection: Love Is Not Easy. This album included all her popular theme songs and some classic songs from her earlier albums.

Besides singing, Jinny also became a hostess for TVB shows. She hosted programs like All Things Girl and Jade Solid Gold. She also started acting in TVB dramas. Some of her acting roles were in Come On, Cousin, My "Spiritual" Ex-Lover, Young Charioteers, and Angel In-the-Making.

On January 18, 2015, Jinny's song "Love Is Not Easy" won a big award. It was named the Golden Song at the 2014 Jade Solid Gold Awards Presentation. This means it was chosen as the best song among many other great songs. People loved this song so much that they called it the "brainwash song" because it was so catchy. It even has a version in Vietnamese!

Jinny Ng's Family Life

In July 2016, Jinny shared that she was in a relationship with Alex Ho. He is not famous and works outside the entertainment industry. In November of the same year, she announced that she was expecting a baby. Their daughter, Giselle, was born in late April 2017. On October 10, Jinny and Alex officially got married. In June 2020, she announced she was pregnant again. Their son, Kylian, was born in November of that year.
