João Manzarra's TV Career

João Manzarra studied communication at the university. However, he stopped his studies early to start his first big TV show. For about two and a half years, he hosted a show called Curto Circuito. This show was very popular and helped him become famous across Portugal. In 2010, he was even nominated for a "Revelation of the Year" award at the Portuguese Golden Globes.

After his success with Ídolos, he hosted another popular show on SIC called Achas que Sabes Dançar?. This was the Portuguese version of the So You Think You Can Dance series, which started in April 2010.
