JoJo & Gran Gran is a fun British animated TV show for children. It is based on a series of picture books by Laura Henry-Allain MBE. The show explores the special bond between a young girl named JoJo and her grandmother, Gran Gran.

This series is important because it is the first animated show to focus on a Black British family. It first aired on 16 March 2020. You can watch it on weekdays on CBeebies. The BBC has announced that more seasons are coming soon!

What the Show is About

JoJo is a curious and happy 4-year-old girl who lives in London. Her loving Gran Gran takes care of her while her parents are at work. Gran Gran teaches JoJo many wonderful things about life and the world.

They learn about cooking, friendship, and JoJo's Saint Lucian heritage. Each episode is a new adventure where JoJo learns something new.

The show also includes short interviews with real children. These children talk about the episode's topic. They share how it relates to their own lives and families.
