Johanna Bennett is an English musician. She was born on September 30, 1984. Johanna was the lead singer for a band called Totalizer. Their first songs were made with help from Anthony Rossomando, a guitarist from the band Dirty Pretty Things. Totalizer played a few concerts but stopped performing in November 2007.
Johanna also helped write a popular song called "Fluorescent Adolescent" for the band Arctic Monkeys. She wrote it with her boyfriend at the time, Alex Turner. They came up with the song's words while playing a word game on vacation.

In 2009, Johanna married Matthew Followill. He is the lead guitarist for the famous band Kings of Leon. They live in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States. Johanna and Matthew have three children. Their two sons were born in April 2011 and March 2013. Their daughter was born in July 2021.
