Johanna Bennett (born on September 30, 1984) is an English musician. She is known for her work as a singer and songwriter.
Her Music Journey
Johanna Bennett was the lead singer for a band called Totalizer. Their early songs were produced by Anthony Rossomando, a guitarist from the band Dirty Pretty Things. Totalizer played a few shows, but the band stopped performing together in November 2007.
Johanna also helped write a popular song called "Fluorescent Adolescent" for the band Arctic Monkeys. She wrote the lyrics with her then-boyfriend, Alex Turner, who is the lead singer of Arctic Monkeys. They came up with the song's words while playing a word game during a holiday.

Johanna Bennett studied at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she earned a degree in psychology.
In 2009, Johanna married Matthew Followill. He is the lead guitarist for the famous band Kings of Leon. Johanna and Matthew live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their children.
