John Stuart Bligh, 6th Earl of Darnley (born April 16, 1827 – died December 14, 1896) was a British nobleman. He held the title of Lieutenant Colonel and was a Deputy Lieutenant (DL) for Kent. From 1831 to 1835, he was known as Lord Clifton. He was also the lord of the Manor of Cobham, Kent.

John Stuart Bligh was the oldest son of Edward Bligh, 5th Earl of Darnley. His mother was Emma Jane Parnell. She was the daughter of Henry Parnell, 1st Baron Congleton. John had several brothers and sisters. These included Edward Vesey Bligh and Henry Bligh.
He went to Christ Church, Oxford University in 1845. He earned his first degree in 1848. Later, he received his master's degree in 1869.
