Meet John C. Robinson
John C. Robinson was born in 1959. He loved nature and decided to study biology at Iowa State University. After college, he became a professional ornithologist. An ornithologist is a scientist who studies birds.
His Work with Birds and Nature
John C. Robinson worked for important government groups. From 1979 to 1988, he was with the United States Department of Agriculture. This group helps farmers and makes sure our food is safe. Later, he joined the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. This service works to protect wildlife and their natural homes.
He also helped lead the American Birding Association. This is a big group for people who love watching birds. John C. Robinson also received a special award called the Audubon's Toyota TogetherGreen fellowship for his environmental work.
