John Corry was an Irish writer who lived around the early 1800s. He was known for writing about places and history. He also wrote a famous book called The Life of George Washington, which came out in 1800.

About John Corry's Life
John Corry was born in the northern part of Ireland. He learned everything he knew by himself, which means he was self-taught.
When he grew up, he moved to Dublin. In Dublin, he worked as a journalist, writing for newspapers and magazines. Around 1792, he moved to London. There, he became a full-time professional writer. We don't know much about what happened to him after the year 1825.
