Early Life and Junior Rugby

Professional Career
Starting with the Cowboys
John Doyle made his professional debut in the NRL with the North Queensland Cowboys. His first game was against the Hunter Mariners on March 22, 1997. He played for the Cowboys from 1997 until 2002. During his time with the team, he played 64 games. He scored 9 tries and kicked 6 goals, earning a total of 48 points for the Cowboys.
Playing for Queensland
John also had the honor of representing his home state, Queensland. He played three games for the Queensland Maroons team in the famous State of Origin series. These games took place in 2001 and 2002. He even scored one try for Queensland, adding 4 points to their score.
Joining the Sydney Roosters
