John Egleton facts for kids
John Egleton (born 1698, died 1727) was a British stage actor. He was known for his performances in plays during the early 1700s.
John Egleton was part of the acting group at the Lincoln's Inn Fields Theatre from 1717 to 1726. This was a famous theatre in London at the time. He also often performed at the summer fairs held in London, which were popular events where people gathered for entertainment. In 1721, he married another actress named Jane Giffard.
