John Alexander Fraser (born March 18, 1931 – died November 6, 2020) was a talented actor and writer from Scotland. He was well-known for his roles in many popular films. Some of his most famous movies include The Dam Busters (1955), The Good Companions (1957), The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960), El Cid (1961), and Repulsion (1965).
John Fraser's Acting Journey
John Fraser began his acting career with many interesting roles. One of his first big parts was as Inigo Jollifant in The Good Companions (1957). This film was based on a book by J. B. Priestley.
Later, John Fraser played leading roles in several important movies. These included El Cid, Tunes of Glory, and The Trials of Oscar Wilde. In The Trials of Oscar Wilde, he played the character of Lord Alfred Douglas. He also appeared in Roman Polanski's film Repulsion, Isadora, and Schizo.
