John Hawkins facts for kids
Sir John Hawkins (also spelled as John Hawkyns) (Plymouth 1532–12 November 1595) was an English shipbuilder, merchant, navigator, and slave trader. In 1571 he helped uncover a plot against Queen Elizabeth I of England.
