John Michael Seasock, born on July 3, 1965, is a retired professional monster truck driver. He is famous for driving the Batman monster truck. He won the Monster Jam World Racing Championship twice, in 2007 and 2008, with Batman. Later, he also drove a truck called Grinder.

John Seasock's Monster Truck Journey

John Seasock's love for monster trucks began when he saw the famous Bigfoot truck. In 1990, he became a full-time driver. His first truck was named Sudden Impact. It was a red Ford F-150 truck.

Driving Different Trucks

During the mid-1990s, John drove for different teams. He even drove a truck called Devil's Dodge. Later, he bought a truck named Storm Warning and changed its name to Sudden Impact. This truck was the first to have a cool teal (blue-green) paint job.

In 1999, he bought another truck, the Liquidator, and again renamed it Sudden Impact. This truck became very well-known. It helped John become a star in the USHRA Monster Jam series. He earned a spot in the World Finals four times with this truck. He also sometimes drove a truck called Pirate Pete.

In 2004, John's team joined Chiller Motorsports to form Sudden Impact Racing. John then started driving a truck called T-Maxx.

Becoming a Champion Driver

John Seasock returned to driving Sudden Impact for a short time in 2006. After that, he joined Live Nation. He drove several different trucks for them, including Team Suzuki, El Toro Loco, and Inferno.

For the 2007 winter season, John became the driver of the iconic Batman monster truck. With Batman, he achieved the biggest win of his career. He won the 2007 Monster Jam Racing Championship! He did it again in 2008, becoming only the second driver to win back-to-back racing championships.

John Seasock's freestyle driving was known for being fast and exciting, but also very controlled. He often performed big jumps, slap wheelies (when the truck lands on its back wheels), and donuts. These moves helped him get high scores.

His most famous freestyle move was the "roof walk." This is when he would stand on the roof of his moving truck to wave to the fans!

Off the track, John was very popular with his fans. He would often chat with them online. He also loves riding street bikes.
