Jolene Anderson is a talented Australian actress and singer. She has starred in many popular TV shows and films.
From 2006 to 2008, she played the character of Erica Templeton in the drama series All Saints. Jolene also won the second season of the celebrity singing competition It Takes Two. More recently, she appears as Detective Inspector Liz Darby in the Australian mystery-comedy series Darby and Joan.

Jolene Anderson's Acting Journey
Early Roles in Television
Jolene Anderson played Erica Templeton on All Saints until September 30, 2008. Her character was a popular part of the show.
In 2008, Jolene hosted Bush Doctors. She introduced the show and did voice-overs. This series aired from January to March that year.
Singing Success on It Takes Two
In the first episode of the 2007 season of It Takes Two, Jolene and her partner David Campbell performed a song. They scored very high marks from the judges. Jolene continued to impress the judges throughout the competition.
On June 19, 2007, she made history on the show. She was the first contestant to get a perfect score from all four judges on both of her performances. Jolene Anderson and David Campbell went on to win It Takes Two on July 10, 2007.
Joining the Cast of Rush
Jolene later joined the cast of the Ten Network police drama series Rush. Her character, Shannon Henry, first appeared in the show's second season. This season began on July 16, 2009.
Recent TV Appearances
In 2019, Jolene Anderson became part of the cast of Harrow. She played Dr. Grace Molyneux, a junior medical examiner. Her character was a love interest for the main character, Harrow, in Season 2. Jolene also filmed for Season 3 of Harrow. She shared in an interview that she had returned to work just three weeks after her daughter was born.
Since 2022, she has been appearing in Darby and Joan. She plays a police detective in this mystery-comedy series. The show is set in Queensland, Australia, and can be watched on Acorn TV.
Jolene Anderson's Theatre Work
From November 14 to December 10, 2011, Jolene Anderson took on a leading role. She played Hypatia in the play "Fractions" by Marcel Dorney. This play was put on by the Queensland Theatre Company.
Hypatia was a brilliant female mathematician and philosopher from 1600 years ago. She was in charge of the Library of Alexandria, which held all the knowledge of her time. When political problems arose, religious groups threatened to destroy the Library. Hypatia worked hard to save it. She had to face her own ideas and make a difficult choice.
Jolene also played "Our Girl" in the Andrew Lloyd Webber song cycle Tell Me on a Sunday. This was her first time performing in musical theatre. Her performance was generally well-received by critics.

Jolene Anderson was nominated for a Logie Award in 2007. This award was for Most Popular New Female Talent. She was nominated for her role as Erica Templeton in All Saints. However, she did not win the award that year. Amy Mathews from Home and Away won instead.
