Jonathan Gresham (born March 20, 1988) is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He also wrestles for other independent wrestling groups. Jonathan Gresham has wrestled for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH). In ROH, he was a ROH World Champion, ROH Pure Champion, and ROH World Tag Team Champion with Jay Lethal.
Earlier in his career, Gresham wrestled for many independent groups. These included Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where he won the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. He also wrestled for Chikara, IWA Mid-South, and Evolve.
Jonathan Gresham has wrestled in over 15 countries. He competed in Germany for Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) and in England for Progress Wrestling. He even became the Progress World Champion.

Early Life and Training
Jonathan Gresham was born on March 20, 1988, in Atlanta, Georgia. Before becoming a professional wrestler, he competed in amateur wrestling until he was 17. Some of the wrestlers who inspired him were Rey Mysterio, Hayabusa, and Jushin Thunder Liger.
Gresham trained with Mr. Hughes, Jay Fury, and at the WWA4 wrestling school in Atlanta. His first wrestling match was in Douglasville, Georgia, when he was only 16 years old.
Professional Wrestling Journey
Wrestling on the Independent Scene (2005–2019)
Jonathan Gresham started his career wrestling for many different groups. In 2006, he debuted for National Wrestling Alliance as Jonathan Davis. He also wrestled for Great Championship Wrestling in Alabama, winning matches there.
In 2008, Gresham wrestled for Booker T's Pro Wrestling Alliance as Hero Tiger. He later won the PWA Iron Man Championship. Gresham also competed in the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup for Full Impact Pro in 2011. He successfully defended his ZERO1 International Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Gresham made his Evolve debut in 2015. He also won the Desastre Total Ultraviolento's Alto Rendimiento title in 2015. He later lost this championship during a tour in Germany.
In 2016, Gresham competed in the Super Indy 15 tournament for International Wrestling Cartel. He reached the finals but did not win. In 2017, he won the IWC Super Indy title, but lost it to Adam Cole in the finals of the Super Indy 16 tournament.
Gresham had several notable matches at Beyond Wrestling. He defeated Zack Sabre Jr. twice in 2016. This led to a special "two out of three falls" match, which Gresham won. In 2017, he became the first-ever Independent Champion.
Time in Chikara (2010–2012)
Jonathan Gresham joined Chikara in 2010. He teamed up with The Osirian Portal. In 2011, he started wrestling as Hieracon and became part of The Osirian Portal team. The group later broke up when one member, Amasis, retired. Gresham's last match in Chikara was against Ophidian, who took his mask after the match.
Combat Zone Wrestling (2010–2017)
Gresham started wrestling for Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) in 2010. He won the "Best of the Best 15" tournament in 2016. Later that year, he won the CZW World Heavyweight Championship for the first time. He held the title until he lost it at Cage of Death 18.
Westside Xtreme Wrestling (2011–2015, 2018–2019, 2022)
Jonathan Gresham debuted for Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) in Germany in 2011. In 2012, he formed a tag team called RockSkillet with Jay Skillet. They won the wXw World Tag Team Championship by defeating the Sumerian Death Squad. RockSkillet successfully defended their titles against teams like The Young Bucks. They lost the championships in March 2013.
In 2022, Gresham returned to wXw and won the prestigious 16 Carat Gold Tournament.
Ring of Honor (2011, 2014, 2015–2022)
Early Matches in ROH
Gresham first appeared in Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2011. He returned in 2014 and then regularly in 2015. In December 2015, he earned a big win against Cedric Alexander.
Forming Search and Destroy (2017–2020)
In 2017, Jonathan Gresham officially signed a contract with Ring of Honor. He teamed up with Jay White, Chris Sabin, and Alex Shelley to form a group called Search and Destroy. This team won a big match against The Rebellion, which meant The Rebellion had to break up. In 2019, Gresham teamed with Jay Lethal to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship from The Briscoe Brothers.
Becoming a Champion in ROH (2020–2022)
In 2020, after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ROH brought back the ROH Pure Championship. Gresham entered a tournament to crown the new champion. He won the tournament by defeating Tracy Williams in the finals, becoming a double champion in ROH. He then joined a new group called The Foundation with "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, Jay Lethal, and Rhett Titus.
In September 2021, Gresham lost the Pure Championship. However, he went on to win the vacant ROH World Championship at Final Battle by defeating Jay Lethal. On April 1, 2022, Gresham defeated Bandido to become the undisputed ROH World Champion.
Later, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) bought ROH. Gresham briefly joined a group called Tully Blanchard Enterprises, which was then bought by Prince Nana. Gresham lost his ROH World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli. Soon after, he left AEW and ROH.
Impact Wrestling / Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2022–present)
Jonathan Gresham made an appearance for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in 2016. In December 2021, it was announced that he would defend his ROH World Championship at Hard To Kill against Chris Sabin. Gresham successfully kept his title. In December 2022, Gresham officially signed with Impact Wrestling.
He returned to Impact Wrestling on December 15, 2022. At Hard To Kill in January 2023, he lost to Eddie Edwards. In July 2023, Gresham competed in a special "Ultimate X match" to become the top contender for the Impact X Division Championship, but he was not successful.
Progress Wrestling (2022)
In March 2022, Jonathan Gresham challenged Cara Noir for the Progress Wrestling World Championship. Gresham won the match and the championship. However, he was later stripped of the Progress World Championship because of outside interference in one of his matches.
Personal Life
In December 2018, Jonathan Gresham got engaged to fellow professional wrestler, Jordynne Grace. The couple got married in September 2020.
