Jonathan Caleb McReynolds (born September 17, 1989) is an American gospel musician. He has won a Grammy Award for his music. Jonathan started his music career in 2012 with his album Life Music. He has had two albums reach No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. These were Life Music: Stage Two (2015) and Make Room (2018). He has also won many other awards, including fifteen Stellar Awards and four GMA Dove Awards. He has been nominated for five Grammy Awards and won one in 2021.

Early Life and Talents

Jonathan McReynolds was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 17, 1989. He grew up with his single mother. His family, church, and pastor gave him a lot of love and support. Jonathan was a very smart and talented child. He started playing the drums when he was five years old. By age eight, he was playing the piano. He showed off his musical skills every week at his church.

At first, Jonathan did not like to sing in front of people. He would only sing by himself at home. But in high school, he started to become more confident. He began to share his singing talents with others. He went to Whitney M. Young Magnet High School. There, he became known for his music. He also learned how to record and produce songs. In 2018, Jonathan became a member of Mensa. This is an international group for people with high IQs. He also became an honorary member of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc., a Christian fraternity. Jonathan McReynolds is the uncle of actor Khalil Everage.
