Jordan Peter Murrell (born May 2, 1993) is a Canadian professional soccer player. He plays as a defender.

Jordan Murrell's Soccer Journey
Starting Out in Soccer
Jordan Murrell started playing soccer when he was just four years old. His first team was Pinnstars FC in London, England.
From 2009 to 2011, Jordan joined the Toronto FC academy. He played for their Under-16 (U16) team, then moved up to the U18 team in 2010. By 2011, he became the captain of the U18 squad.
In 2011, Jordan decided to play college soccer in the United States. He played for Syracuse University from 2011 to 2014. During his time there, he earned many awards.
While in college, Jordan also played for two other teams. He played for USL PDL side Ocean City Nor'easters in 2013. In 2014, he played for K-W United FC.
Playing for Pro Teams
On January 20, 2015, Jordan was chosen in the third round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. He was picked by Real Salt Lake.
He then signed with Real Monarchs SLC, which is Real Salt Lake's team in the USL league. This happened on March 16, 2015. After the 2015 season, the club decided not to keep him.
Jordan then trained with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds team. He officially signed with them on March 24, 2016.
In December 2016, Jordan signed with a new team called Reno 1868 FC. This was a new team joining the USL league. In July 2017, he scored two goals in a big 9–0 win against LA Galaxy II. That season, he played in 27 games, which was the most he had played in his career so far.
After the 2017 season, Reno 1868 announced that Jordan would stay for the 2018 season. However, he was released by Reno on December 3, 2018.
On January 8, 2019, Jordan returned to Canada. He signed a multi-year contract with Valour FC in the Canadian Premier League. He played his first game for Valour on May 1 against Pacific FC. Later, he faced a suspension for six games after an incident during a match on August 5. On January 17, 2020, Valour announced that Jordan was released from his contract.
On January 31, 2020, Jordan joined USL Championship team Las Vegas Lights.
Playing for Canada
In January 2011, Jordan played for Canada's U18 national team. This was during a training camp in Costa Rica. He played in two friendly games and even scored a goal against Costa Rica's U18 team.
Later in December 2011, Jordan was called up again for Canada's U18 national team. This time, the training camp was in the USA.
In July 2012, Jordan was invited to a camp for the Canada U20 national team. He was the captain for one of the friendly games against Mexico's U20 team. He played in both matches.
In February 2013, Jordan was chosen for Canada's team for the 2013 CONCACAF U20 Championship.
In May 2016, Jordan was called to play for Canada's U23 national team. They played two friendly games against Guyana and Grenada. He played in both of these games.
