Jordi Roca i Fontané, born on November 28, 1978, in Girona, Spain, is a world-famous pastry chef. He is known for creating amazing desserts at the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca. This special restaurant is run by Jordi and his two brothers. In 2014, Jordi was given the very first "World's Best Pastry Chef" award by Restaurant magazine, which is a big honor in the food world!
Jordi has a condition called dysphonia, which is a neurological disease that makes his voice permanently hoarse. Despite this, he continues to create incredible sweet treats. In April 2018, a TV show called Chef's Table: Pastry featured Jordi on Netflix, showing off his unique skills.
