Growing Up in El Salvador

Jorge also writes poems for adults. These poems talk about the challenges of growing up during wartime. They also share the difficulties immigrants face when they move to the United States. For over 15 years, he has visited schools. He talks to kids about how powerful poetry can be in their lives.
