Jorge Lavat Bayona (August 3, 1933 – September 14, 2011) was a Mexican movie and television actor. He is mostly known for his last role as Don Julio in the soap opera Eva Luna.
He was born in Mexico City, Mexico on August 3, 1933. He was married first to Ana María Torres until they divorced. Then he married Silvia Burgos. Again he was married to Ana María Torres and lastly to Rebeca Martínez until his death. He had four children.
Lavat died on September 14, 2011 in Mexico City, Mexico after a lung infection after surgery. He was 78 years old.
