José Jiménez Ruiz is a very important general from the Spanish Air Force. He was born in Madrid, Spain, on May 24, 1946. He held a top position in the Air Force for several years.
He became the leader of the Spanish Air Force, called the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, on July 18, 2008. This means he was in charge of all the Air Force's operations and planning. He served in this role until July 31, 2012, when General Francisco Javier García Arnáiz took over.
