José de Anchieta Júnior (born March 11, 1965 – died December 6, 2018) was an important politician from Brazil. He was a member of a political group called the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB).

He served as the Governor of Roraima, a state in northern Brazil. He was Governor from December 2007 until April 2014.

Before becoming Governor, Anchieta Júnior was the Vice Governor of Roraima. The Governor at the time, Ottomar Pinto, sadly passed away while in office on December 11, 2007.

Because of this, Anchieta Júnior was sworn in as the new Governor. This meant he took over the leadership role for the state.

After taking over, Anchieta Júnior was later elected by the people to serve a full term as Governor in 2010. He continued to lead Roraima until April 2014.

José de Anchieta Júnior was married to Shéridan Oliveira, who was also a deputy.

He passed away on December 6, 2018. He was 53 years old. His death was due to a heart attack. He was laid to rest in his home state of Ceará.
