Joseph Joestar is a very important character from the Japanese manga and anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He was born on September 27, 1920. Joseph first appeared in the story called Battle Tendency. Later, he also showed up in Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable.
Joseph is known for his clever tricks and his special powers. He can use a unique energy called "Ripple" (or Hamon). This energy comes from his own life force. Hermit Purple Stand
Joseph's Stand, Hermit Purple, is a unique power that appeared later in his life. A Stand is like a spirit guardian that fights alongside its user. Hermit Purple is named after the ninth tarot card, The Hermit.
- Spirit Photos: Hermit Purple can take pictures of things that are far away or even hidden. It does this by smashing a camera or TV screen.
- Grappling Hook: Joseph can use the thorny vines of Hermit Purple to swing around or grab onto things.
- Ripple Conduction: The vines can also conduct the Ripple energy. This means Joseph can send his Ripple through the vines to attack enemies from a distance.
Joseph's Family and Friends
Joseph Joestar comes from a famous family called the Joestars. Many members of his family have special powers and go on amazing adventures.
- Grandfather: His grandfather was Jonathan Joestar, the first "JoJo" in the series.
