Josepha Sherman (born December 12, 1946 – died August 23, 2012) was an American writer. She was also a folklorist, which means she studied and collected traditional stories and beliefs. Josepha Sherman wrote many books, especially in the fantasy and science fiction genres. In 1990, she won the Compton Crook Award for her novel The Shining Falcon.
