Broadway and Film Appearances
Sabel also performed on Broadway, which is a famous theater district in New York City. She was in several musicals there. These included Punch, Judy and Company (1903) and Earl Carroll's Vanities (1925). She also appeared in a few films. Some of her movies were Corn Top Bread (1930) and Broadway to Hollywood (1933).

A critic named Frank Norris wrote that she could make her audience do whatever she wanted. She could make them laugh, cry, or even whistle. Josephine Sabel also liked to show off the latest fashions from Paris. Her outfits, both on and off stage, were often talked about in newspapers.

Josephine Domingue married David Sabel, who was also her manager. She passed away on December 24, 1945. She was 79 years old. She had been living in a care home in Patchogue, New York since 1937.
