Joshua Rashaad Johnson, born on January 11, 1986, is an American baseball coach. He used to play professional baseball as an infielder. Today, he works as a coach for the Texas Rangers baseball team. He also coached for the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Playing Baseball
Josh Johnson went to high school in Tampa, Florida. The Kansas City Royals baseball team chose him in the 2004 MLB draft. This means they picked him to play for their team. Josh played in the Royals' minor league system from 2003 to 2009. Minor league teams help young players get ready for the big leagues. After 2009, he left the Royals. He then joined the Washington Nationals team. He played in their minor league system from 2010 to 2015.

Starting as a Manager
In 2016, the Washington Nationals hired Josh as a manager. A manager is like the head coach of a team. He managed the Gulf Coast Nationals team in 2016 and 2017.

He now helps with player development in the minor leagues.
