Josimar Rodrigues Souza Roberto, known simply as Josimar, is a talented football player from Brazil. He was born on August 16, 1987, in Ipatinga, Brazil. Josimar plays as a striker, which means his main job on the field is to score goals for his team!
Josimar's Football Journey
Josimar started his football career in his home country, Brazil. He played for the youth team of Ipatinga from 2003 to 2005.
Playing in Japan
In 2006, Josimar moved to Japan to play for Ventforet Kofu. He spent a few years there, also playing for Ehime FC on loan in 2007. During his time with Ehime FC, he scored 8 goals in 21 games. He returned to Ventforet Kofu and then played for Ehime FC again until 2011. In 2012, he joined Tokyo Verdy.
Adventures in Asia
After playing in Japan, Josimar's career took him to other parts of Asia. He played for Al-Fateh SC in Saudi Arabia from 2014 to 2015. Later, he moved to Thailand, where he played for several clubs.
- In 2016, he joined Army United and scored 16 goals in 30 games.
- In 2017, he played for Port, scoring 13 goals in 28 matches.
- In 2018, he played for PTT Rayong, where he scored 10 goals in 13 games.
- In 2019, he played for Police Tero and then returned to Port.
