José Alcoverro y Amorós (born in Tivenys, Catalonia, in 1835 – died in Madrid on December 9, 1908) was a famous Spanish sculptor. He learned his skills from another well-known artist, José Piquer. Alcoverro was known for creating very realistic sculptures, especially portraits of people.

He was also very good at making religious art and sculptures for important public buildings. His art often showed a lot of emotion and detail. He displayed his work in art shows in Madrid every year from 1867 until 1907.
