Jovelyn Gonzaga is a talented Filipino volleyball player. She was born on October 31, 1991, in Jordan, Guimaras, Philippines. Jovelyn was a key player and team captain for the Central Philippine University volleyball team.

She is currently an important member of the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles team in the Premier Volleyball League. Jovelyn plays as an opposite hitter, which is a special position in volleyball. She also represents her country as a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team.

Jovelyn Gonzaga has had an exciting career in both indoor and beach volleyball. She has won many awards and medals, showing her skill and dedication to the sport.

Indoor Volleyball Highlights

Jovelyn became very well-known in 2013. She was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference. She was surprised and happy about this award.

She continued to shine in the Shakey's V-League. In 2014, she played as a guest player for the FEU Lady Tamaraws. She was recognized as the "Best Opposite Spiker" multiple times in 2015. She also earned another MVP award in the Shakey's V-League 12th Season Reinforced Open Conference.

Jovelyn was chosen to be the team captain for the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She led her team in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games. In 2024, Jovelyn joined the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles team.

Beach Volleyball Adventures

Jovelyn also plays beach volleyball, which is played on sand. In 2022, she teamed up with Sisi Rondina for the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. They competed in the Subic Bay Future tournament.

Together, Jovelyn and Sisi won the gold medal at this event. This was a big achievement for them in beach volleyball.
