Jovelyn's Volleyball Journey
Jovelyn Gonzaga has had an amazing career in volleyball. She started playing and quickly became known for her skills.
Early Career Highlights
In 2013, Jovelyn was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference. She was very surprised and happy about this award. The next year, in 2014, she played as a guest player for the FEU Lady Tamaraws.
Becoming a National Player
Jovelyn showed great talent as an opposite spiker. She won awards for being the "Best Opposite Spiker" in different Shakey's V-League conferences. Her leadership skills were also noticed. In 2015, she became the team captain for the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She led her team in the Southeast Asian Games that year.
Recent Teams
Jovelyn has played for several top teams. She was with the Cignal HD Spikers and the Army Black Mamba Lady Troopers. In 2024, she joined the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles. She continues to be a key player for her team.
