João Nelson de Sousa Caridade Simões, often known as João Simões, was born on March 4, 1998. He is a professional football player from Portugal. João plays as a right-back for the team Sourense. A right-back is a player who defends on the right side of the field.
João's Football Journey
João Simões started his professional football career on February 25, 2017. He played his first game for Académica. This match was part of the 2016–17 LigaPro season. They played against a team called Cova da Piedade.
In August 2019, João was "loaned out" to another team, Berço. Being loaned out means he played for Berço for a season, but he still belonged to Académica. However, in January 2020, he returned to Académica. Soon after, on March 20, 2020, he was loaned out again, this time to Anadia.
João came back to Académica for the 2020–21 season. During this time, he played in only two matches. In the summer of 2021, João Simões joined a new club called Condeixa. Before the 2022–23 season began, he moved to play for Pampilhosa. Currently, he plays for Sourense.
