Juan Bautista Agüero Sánchez (born June 24, 1935 – died December 27, 2018) was a famous Paraguayan football player. He was known as a powerful striker, which means he was great at scoring goals for his team.

Juan Agüero's Football Journey

Juan Agüero started his amazing football career at a club called Olimpia in Paraguay. At that time, a very respected coach named Aurelio González was leading the team. With Juan's help, Olimpia won several national championships, showing how talented he was from a young age.

Later, Juan moved to Spain to play for Sevilla FC. He spent eight years there, playing over 100 games and scoring many goals. This showed how important he was to the team.

For the 1965-1966 season, Juan joined the world-famous team, Real Madrid. After his time there, he also played briefly for Granada CF.

Juan Agüero was also a key player for his country, the Paraguay national football team. He helped them qualify for the 1958 FIFA World Cup, which is one of the biggest football tournaments in the world. During the World Cup, he scored two goals for Paraguay, making his country proud.
