Juan Gómez-Quiñones facts for kids
Juan Gómez-Quiñones (January 28, 1940 – November 11, 2020) was an American historian, poet, and activist. He was best known for his work in Chicana/o history. He was a co-editor of the Plan de Santa Bárbara.
Gómez-Quiñones was born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was raised in Los Angeles, California. He taught at the University of California at Los Angeles.
Gómez-Quiñones died on November 11, 2020 in Los Angeles at the age of 80.
