Juda is a small community in Green County, Wisconsin, United States. It is known as a census-designated place. This means it's an area with a population that the government counts. However, it does not have its own local government like a city or village.
Juda is located in the town of Jefferson. It is about 5 miles east of Monroe. You can find Juda along Wisconsin State Highway 11 and Wisconsin State Highway 81. In 2010, the population of Juda was 357 people. It is also part of the larger Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area.
A sad event happened on March 30, 1967. Nine girls from Juda's Union High School were on a senior class trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. They tragically died when a plane crashed into the motel where they were staying.
