Judenburg District facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

The Judenburg District was a special area, like a county, in the state of Styria in Austria. It was a place where many towns and villages came together.

On January 1, 2012, something new happened! The Judenburg District joined with another nearby district called Knittelfeld. Together, they formed a brand new, bigger district named Murtal. So, the Judenburg District doesn't exist on its own anymore, but its towns and people are now part of the larger Murtal area.
