Judge Roy Scream at RCDB |
Judge Roy Scream is an exciting wooden roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas. It has a special "out and back" design. This means the coaster goes out a long way and then comes back to the starting point. It was designed so that families could enjoy the ride together!
Judge Roy Scream was the very first wooden roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas. It opened in 1980. The ride sits right next to the park's big entry lake. To reach it, guests walk through a tunnel. This tunnel goes under the park's main parking lot entrance road. The name "Judge Roy Scream" is a fun play on words. It refers to Judge Roy Bean, a famous Justice of the Peace from the 1800s.
