Switch to Road Cycling

The year 2004 was a huge success for Judith. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, she won a silver medal in the road race. Just two weeks later, she became the world road race champion in Verona, Italy. These victories helped her become the top-ranked cyclist in the UCI world ranking.

In 2005, she continued her success by winning the German national road championship for the sixth time.
