Judy Jacobs (born September 27, 1957) is an American gospel music singer and songwriter. Her full name is Judith Jacobs Tuttle. She began her music career in 1984 while studying at Lee College. Judy Jacobs has released many albums. Two of her albums have even appeared on the Billboard magazine charts. These charts show the most popular music in the United States.
Judy Jacobs' Early Life
Judy Jacobs was born on September 27, 1957, in Lumberton, North Carolina. She was the youngest of twelve children in her family. Judy started singing at a very young age, when she was just eight years old. She sang with her sisters in a group called The Jacobs Sisters. Later, she went to Lee University for her college studies.
Her Music Journey
Judy Jacobs officially started her recording career in 1987. Her first album was called Judy Jacobs: With New Harvest. In 2001, she released another album, "No God Like Jehovah," through her own music company, His Song Ministries.
Two of her albums became very popular and appeared on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. This chart lists the top gospel music albums. Her album Almighty Reigns came out in 2005 and reached number 16 on the chart. Later, in 2011, her album I Feel a Change reached number 33. This shows how much people enjoyed her music!
Family and Ministry
Judy Jacobs is married to Jamie Tuttle. Together, they lead a church called Dwelling Place Church International. This church is located in Cleveland, Tennessee. They also own a music company together, called His Song Music Group. Judy and Jamie have two daughters named Erica and Kaylee.
