Julia Vysotskaya was born in Novocherkassk, a city in Russia. She finished high school in Baku in 1990. Julia studied drama at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. She graduated from there in 1995. Later, in 1998, she also studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
